Be one of Ubuntu community

Install Firestarter on Ubuntu

To install Firestarter

Type on cmd:

sudo apt-get install firestarter

Then your firewall should be installed. You will see setup wizard and just follow the instruction given. After finish you type on cmd again:

sudo /usr/sbin/firestarter

That cmd will start GUI on firestarter.

  1. Hello Mr Adimaya,

    Is there any other firewall available?
    Also.. ‘cmd’ I assume you referring to shell or terminal in Linux. Am I wrong?

    Hehe Im not sure if there any other firewall available for Ubuntu..Anyway thanx for you trying really hard to find my mistake there..haha..yes in Linux its called terminal,not cmd..

    If there any mistake I made please give comment.

  3. Hahaha..dats not latin but batong language..

    well thats one of the reason why my supervisor very proud of me because everytym he asked question to me I quickly replies n give answer to him.
